2022 – RIP

Since 2020 I’ve thought “This can’t get any worse”. Famous last words. Three years, just me and my dog. Like “I am Legend” meets “Groundhog Day”. Maybe it will get better in 2023. Not holding my breath. In the meantime, here’s a sendoff for 2022.

People quake, in fearful flight
Atrocity streams from perdition afar
Hellish hordes prophesy dysphoria
Geist’s hour favor is borne
Geistlich behavior is formed.

Silent night, embolding fright
Nothing’s calm, nothing’s bright
Darkness streams from every place
Gone is hope without a trace
Pleasing Lords of no worth
Teasing hoards of thy earth.
